Napanee curling began in the 1890's on the Napanee River & continued outdoors into the 1920's. Women joined the sport with the formation of the present club, which first curled in the arena from 1957-1960 and in the present facility since 1961. The Napanee & District Curling Club is a not for profit, membership-owned club.

Cataraqui Golf and Country Club was established in 1917. In 1961 curling facilities were added and it became the sport of choice as the weather cools at Cataraqui. Curling entices people to the game in many of the same ways as golf. A great way to spend time with family, friends and colleagues, curling at Cataraqui offers both competitive and recreational options.

Starting in mid-October, and running through to mid-April, curling at Cataraqui has never been so easy—with Learn To Curl programs for newcomers, and Men’s, Women’s, Mixed and Open leagues for more established players. Our club leagues are a great place to meet people and develop curling skills. Sign up as an individual and you are placed on a team. Teams are switched up every few weeks to allow you to play with a variety of people. Under 18 and want to curl? Cataraqui has an active junior program.

There is more than Curling at Cataraqui! As a Member of Cataraqui Curling programs, you also have the option to take advantage of Cataraqui amenities:

  • 12-month access to Club Dining and Social events
