Grade 5 & 9 students can try curling on the 1st Sunday of each month from November 5 to March 3 between 2 and 3 p.m. at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club, 32 Country Club Drive. Students should wear comfortable clothing and must bring a helmet and clean sneakers and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian can also try curling if they bring a pair of clean sneakers and a helmet. Review of Rowan’s law material (concussion awareness) and a waiver must be signed before going on the ice. Try to arrive 30 minutes early. Instruction will be provided. Dates are November 5, December 3, January 7, February 4, and March 3.
